Club Mahindra is one of India’s leaders in leisure and hospitality and runs a string of resorts in India and abroad. The client needed unique material for each of their resorts across the country, which would promote the cuisine, facilities, and the USP of each resort.
Nexus was tasked with promoting the uniqueness of a resort and to make a case that each one needed to be experienced. Nexus researched, wrote, and designed a set of marketing materials.
We put together a package that would inform guests about the nature, culture, history and cuisine of the region around each resort. There were elegantly made coffee-table books that guests could go through. Some, like bookmarks, were designed as keepsakes and take-aways. Other deliverables included restaurant coasters, activity handouts, booklets on each region’s cuisine and so on.
A Nexus team visited the resorts, spoke extensively with the staff and local management, and took in the entire resort. The team recorded the experience and learned the finer details of the resorts and its services.
Part of our research was also learning about local delicacies, ingredients that are sourced from the land, the wildlife in each area, and places to visit. This led to interesting output such as a booklet on coffee for distribution at the client’s Coorg resorts and a handout on the traditional Ainmanes in the region.
