This week on The Road Less Taken we have Commander Abhilash Tomy, the first Indian and second Asian to have sailed around the world solo, non-stop and unassisted, in conversation with QM Venky Srinivasan.
Between November 2012 and March 2013, Abhilash Tomy sailed around the world, alone and without stops in a 56- foot sailboat. Cdr Tomy was a participant of the Golden Globe Race 2018.
He has been awarded the Kirti Chakra, the Nau Sena Medal and the Tenzing Norgay National Adventure Award among many others.
