CELEBRATING INDIA!

Indica is an inter-school quiz organized by Nexus Consulting. It is held on Republic Day each year. Introduced in 2016, this quiz is a celebration of everything Indian. The quiz is held in tro age categories: For students in Grades 5-8 and for students in Grades 9-12.
Owing to the Covid pandemic, Indica 2022 was an online event. The final was streamed live on the Nexus YouTube channel.
Over 1,000 students from across the country took part in an online preliminary round. This year, we introduced a semifinal for the top 100 scoring participants from the preliminary round in both categories.
The finals saw the top eight participants from each category fighting it out for the title.
The quiz comprised of questions on Indian history, sports, culture, entertainment and other topics.
IN the past we have partnered with some eminent companies. This year was no exception. Our lead sponsor was Vinayaka Mission’s Research Foundation. FinFirst Financial Services who have been a pillar of support continued their association with Indica for the sixth year. Tally Solutions, Malayala Manorama and Fever FM also joined to help us put together a splendid event.
Classical pianist and educator ‘Kalaimamani’ Anil Srinivasan, the founder of Rhapsody Music Education, was the chief guest. Mr. Srinivasan shared a few words of encouragement to the finalists and gave away the prizes.
